Customs regulations in Canada and overseas countries will always be advised to avoid delay or hold up of shipments. In general, breakables and loose contents will be packed in double wall boxes for safe transport. Furniture will be wrapped in corrugated cardboard. If necessary, we will suggest crating on goods for more protection. These apply even to domestic moves across Canada or the USA.
Transportation and Shipping Arrangements
Along with our own local fleet, all carriers are carefully chosen to best suit our clients’ expectations and requirements. Whenever necessary, A Plus has a warehouse size of 25,000 sq.ft. to offer short or long term storage. Specially constructed pallets are used to keep the household goods clean and secure.
Overseas Destination Services
With decades of moving experience all over the world, A Plus has assembled a carefully cultivated network of oversea agents. Most of them, just like A Plus, are members of the International Association of Movers (IAM) where quality services are assured. Their responsibilities including assistance of Customs clearance, pick up from terminal, delivery to residences, unloading, unpacking of furniture and removal of debris after a job.
Shipments Coming into Canada
As a delivering agent for oversea shipments from overseas, our services will be handled with the same dedication as above. We are here to help the consignee to clear Customs in a smooth manner. Every inbound shipment will be reviewed with proper advice to our client.
